People still use IE? I feel like there are so many better options out there (Mozilla and Chrome)...I'll let someone else review this product for me before I go through the trouble of DLing it.

I have been beta testing most of there explorers when it comes out i just heard about e9 just now from this blog, probley gonna try it out, the internet browser i use now is google chrome and sometimes Firefox on my other computer. Both are great!
On my blog stats, I can see which percentage of my vistors are using which browser.
I think around 6% of the visitors use IE....so low!
I'll stick to firefox even if they release version 11 right now :)
Thanks for this, didnt know! IE has a lot of catching up to do! I mean look how long it took them to implement something as simple as tabbed browsing :/
I actually use both firefox (preference) and IE...I hate chrome for some reason.

Chrome user here. I sometimes still use IE because for some reason Chrome wont download certain pages correctly.
I'll have to look into it, however, I don't see me dropping Firefox as my main browser, regardless of what OS I'm running.

Firefox is superior.
I use Firefox and Chromium. I have others installed but that is just so I can test out what my websites look like in multiple browsers.

It's been proven to be THE #1 slowest browser available.
I've been using it on my test machine, its useful for somethings and comparatively faster than Firefox 4 occasionally.
I may give it a try but right now I am all about Chrome.
The only thing IE is good for is downloading a better browser.

The first week I had ie8 it wouldn't play youtube video, or flash at all... they did fix it, but by then i had reverted and wouldn't try it again for over 9000 months

I was a devout IE user for years, refused to switch over to firefox (I just disliked it), then finally I got fed up and made the move. Now I use google Chrome and I couldn't be happier, Microsoft's gonna have to work really hard to even get me to consider opening up their browser.
i use firefox in everything except blogging, for that i use chrome.
i'm still waiting for the glorious return of Netscape Navigator

I'm not much a fan of IE, but I've heard good things so I might give it a shot.
Firefox is my primary browsers, I have however tried chrome/opera. I like the sleek look of chrome but the addons of firefox keep me hooked.

I stay away from Internet Explorer like the plague. I'd rather be using Firefox Beta 4 than IE Beta 9.
I use firefox about 90% of the time. Occasionally there's a site I come across where firefox doesnt work.

Firefox is still tops unfortunately.. I say unfortunately because I've had some compatibility and missing plugin issues that are still unresolved.. but I wouldn't use anything else. Chrome was actually slower for me, believe it or not..

Hmm im so used to Firefox that I dont think i'd upgrade. But for the older folks I think it would be useful if it doesn't crash this much and is easier to design on.

while IE hasnt been my favorite browser (being a web developer I have to hack things for IE6/7) i have to say IE9 is shaping up to be a good browser. not every browser is utilizing HTML5 to its fullest , or at least i dont think so so having a valid opinion on something like this would be tough. ill have to give the beta a try

I'll just keep to my Firefox but nonetheless, I will give it a shot.
I gave up on IE years ago, I then moved on to Firefox for a few years until it started messing up on me or unknown reasons so now I'm a Chrome user.
Ill have to give it a whirl, I am pretty happy with firefox and I kind of get set in my ways, like I cant stand the close tab x on each tab so I set it back to one in the right. I also had to change the way the tabs opened back to the old way. Plus I love all my plug-ins.
I'm not gunna bother I use chrome so :)
IE.....Let's hope it'll copy chrome or firefox.

I gave it a try. It's not enough to move me off of Chrome, but I do like the smoothness of the scrolling.

Ive been using firefox for some things and chrome for others. Firefox is a lot more controllable with add ons but i like google real nice and simple for just browsing and add block is nice

i tried ie9 beta and i like it... they stole most of the ideas from chrome ROFL... but i love chrome so im sticking with it.
I use chrome too. But I like testing with ie for the lulz. IE9 has some MODERN CSS support which is nice.
I dont think IE will ever win those people back, sucks for them. As for me, its all about chrome.
IE has run slower than any other browser as of IE7 i stopped using it..... Chrome ftw^^
